Hi! I am Kate and my daughters are Natalie and Olivia. We also have an adorable mischief pup, Nova the Border Collie! Nova clearly wants to be a farm dog. She's a pro at digging holes all over the yard and lives her best life as a mud puppy. I am totally teaching her how to dig holes on command so I can plant my blueberry bushes in a sunny spot in the yard. (The awful clay soil is no match for her!)

Natalie is a gymnast-turned-hockey player who is also a member of the middle school show choir. Olivia is a soccer player who also loves to sing and play cello. Both girls are into acting and love playing outdoors. 

Olivia, my youngest, enjoys crossing the pollen between her favorite flowers. Natalie isn't much on planting, but she enjoys watering and more tactical work like bug patrol. (I noticed our zinnias are a magnet for Japanese beetles! This is actually a good thing as it works like a trap crop for our green bean patch.)

Besides breeding zinnias, I am a marketing specialist and freelance writer. I am also a ball hockey player, restarting my athletic career as a mom after I realized I was on the wrong side of the boards watching Nat play. Flowers and vegetables are my favorite things to grow, and I will always have a special spot in my heart for Zinnias. My dad Dave gave me my first-ever zinnia seeds and I've been hooked ever since.

Now I feel grateful and blessed to return the favor when I am sharing my zinnia seeds back to him!
